Why choose a physiotherapy degree?
To be eligible for admission into the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Physiotherapy programme, applicants should satisfy the following academic requirements:
Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) qualifications at:
Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language; and
Level 2 or above in Mathematics and Liberal Studies; and
Level 2 or above in an elective subject
(preferably Biology or Physics; or Combined Science with a Biology or Physics component).
Follow the admission requirements of the Open University of Hong Kong.

- The curriculum is developed in compliance with international standards and the Physiotherapists Board’s requirements for programme accreditation.
- Professional courses will be delivered in small classes/groups.
- In addition to state-of-the-art equipment in specially designed laboratories, advanced technology such as web-based resource hub, simulation experience and digital dissection pedagogy will be used to facilitate teaching and learning.
- Clinical placements of over 1000 hours will be arranged in hospitals, clinics, NGOs, and community-based settings.
